Reel Bible: From Text to Epic

Reel Bible brings to attention great or, at least, quality movies on the Bible. Despite the many hundreds of Bible movies, there are tragically few that are truly great and even those that are great as Bible movies rarely exhibit the level of artistic quality to make my 100 Great Movies. I have divided Reel Bible into five areas in which I highlight some worthwhile Bible movies, though some are clearly better than others, and a sixth area for books on movies: Great Bible Movies, The Bible Collection, Hollywood Epics, Jesus Movies, VeggieTales, and Books on Movies. The latter area provides some resources designed to stimulate critical thinking about movies. To that end, Reel Bible also features an essay I have written outlining a Christian approach to movies:
