Welcome to Movies @anduril.ca! This section of my website is devoted to exploring movies within the context of a Christian worldview. Presently, I offer two main areas of exploration:

  Film and More: 10 Great Directors and 100 Great Movies - In the spirit of movie fans all over the world, I have put together my list of 100 great movies. I have also added a twist with my list of 10 great directors. I recommend all the movies on my 100 list, though I recognize some Christians visiting this site may not agree with the content of some movies on my list. If you are sensitive to violence or nudity in movies, some movies in my list are not appropriate for you. Nevertheless, I believe these movies raise important themes and ideas with which Christians can, and often should, engage. Movies in my list link to the version of these movies that I recommend for purchase; however, there are often other versions available.

  Reel Bible: Christians and Film - Reel Bible is the home of a more explicitly Christian theme to the subject of movies. At Reel Bible, you'll find an essay exploring Christian ethics towards movies. You will also find short reviews of Bible movies.
