Accordance Bible Software truly is a paragon of efficiency, elegant simplicity, and power. Users of all computer skill levels will find Accordance easy-to-use and (yet) very productive too; scholars will appreciate access to an impressive collection of tagged texts. Brill Academic Publishers publish some of the most important, but also most expensive and difficult-to-find, scholarly CD-ROMs. The CD-ROMs that I recommend are examples of this. If they are unavailable at Amazon.com, you may want to order them directly from Brill or from Dove Booksellers. The electronic and print publications from Brill are enough to make most scholars salivate. Here are some of their best (mostly PC) CD-ROMs:

Logos Bible Software Series X is a great resource for anyone who wants to learn more about the Bible and the Christian Faith. Through Logos Bible Software you gain access to the expandable Libronix Digital Library System and essential reference books, commentaries, devotional books, and more. I own Logos Bible Software. It is helpful for searching texts and researching essays, especially with secondary sources. Here are some of their best packages for the PC:

Thomas Nelson uses the Libronix Digital Library System to deliver books that will integrate with Logos Series X. While I don't recommend most eBible collections because they duplicate resources in and offer less value than the libraries offered by Logos, there are some collections for lay, pastoral, and scholarly users, as well as the eBible for PDA and Palm OS, that are unique and useful products. Here are Thomas Nelson's best packages for PDA and Palm OS and the PC:

Zondervan Interactive uses the Pradis software engine for its PC Bible Software and Accordance for its Mac Bible Software. Zondervan's products are not compatible with the Libronix Digital Library System. Though I have yet to test this product, it looks excellent. This software seems ideal for lay and pastoral users, featuring a better choice of books than all but the Scholar's Libraries in Logos Series X. Here are some of their best packages:
